Hyperelastic Network

5G technology promises to enable a fully mobile connected society by supporting requirements of enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable and low-latency communications (URLLC), and massive machine-type communications (mMTC) use cases.
However, managing the disruptive philosophy and increasing complexity of the new 5G network and responding to rapid growth in demand for high bandwidth and low latency service can translate into many changes and challenges for any communication service provider.
To respond to this challenge, JSC Ingenium is introducing a Hyperelastic Network solution. The solution is based on Cloud-Native architecture and supports key technologies like microservice, service-based architecture, stateless design, distributed deployment, and Network Slicing.

Virtualization

The Network Function Virtualization underpins the design of Hyperelastic Network. The SDN & NFV enabled Hyperelastic Network delivers the ability to configure network services in software without making changes to the network at the hardware level, which opens up exciting new possibilities.

Cloud-Native

Hyperelastic Network provides microservice-centric architecture, distributed data storage, stateless design, and agile and cost-efficient deployment. The cloud-based virtual network functions enable quick orchestration of resources.

Service-Based Architecture

3GPP defines a brand-new core network using service-based architecture, the SBI protocol based on the HTTP/2 protocol, in which control plane functions are fully decoupled. To adapt to the scalability and flexibility of 5G network and making the network more agile, Hyperelastic Network uses the service-based architecture.

Network Slicing

The Hyperelastic Network provides slicing technologies to flexibly allocate network resources to meet different industry users’ requirements and create differentiated services for different user groups. In this way, network slicing opens many new revenue potentials for communication service providers.

Full Convergence

In order to ensure smooth transition, simplify the network operation and maintenance and improve the reliability of the service, the Hyperelastic Network solution implement a converged core network that supports 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G network access as well as non-3GPP networks.
This philosophy massively reduces the total cost of ownership of the communication service provider.

AI Assisted Monitoring

The Hyperelastic Network is designed with AI built in to support effective detection of failures, root cause analysis as well as automated network and service governance, and topology management.

Distributed Deployment

The Hyperelastic Network architecture completely separates the control plane and user plane of the core network. This design philosophy allows for the decentralized deployment of user plane functions. Under this architecture, the user plane functions can be flexibly deployed in a central or local datacenter or cloud depending on the use case scenario such as bandwidth, latency, and reliability.

In the Hyperelastic network, the control plane and user plane can be designed and scale independently to meet the demand.
